In 1985, Troy started Superior Landscaping, Inc. on his off-days from the Fairfax County Fire Department, and after years of experience at *Betty’s Azalea Ranch*. The unique schedule of the firehouse led Troy to hire fellow firefighters, and together they built a landscaping company grounded in hard work, impeccable follow-through, and community.
In 2005, Troy retired from the fire department to focus on growing Superior Landscaping, Inc. with Lara. Today, we’re proud of our professional, highly skilled, full-time crew—many of whom have been with us for decades. We’re also proud that 80% of our business comes from referrals, a testament to the lasting relationships we've built with our clients. In fact, we’re now serving the grandchildren of our original clients from 1985, continuing the tradition of quality landscaping down through generations.
